Care & Maintenance of End Grain Cutting Boards
Our cutting boards are finished with mineral oil. This is to inhibit the movement of moisture in and out of the wood. Mineral Oil is food safe. However, it is easily washed off with normal use and can dry out the cutting board. Give your cutting board a thorough oiling as soon as possible. All sides of the board should be liberally coated. You can use a paper towel to apply the oil.
Rules To Remember
• Don’t immerse the cutting board in water.

•Wipe it off with a rag dampened with warm, soapy water and rinse briefly.

•Dry it thoroughly.

•Never store it near a high heat source.

•Oil your cutting board on a regular basis to preserve and restore it. Oiling it once a month, or as needed, will keep it looking like new.
